Instead of going to the gym, I used the excuse that I hadn't taken my photo yet for today and the light was fading fast. Then the accident on the freeway cinched the deal. I got off the freeway and went to City Park to take some photos.I barely got a few in before it got dark!

Remember Papa P? Well, I told you that the rest of the family would be featured eventually. This little cutie is Baby P, the youngest of the bunch (and my favorite, but don't tell the rest of them!). You may also remember the lamp in the background. This will not be the last you will see of that either!

Okay, I am cheating. I did not take these today, but I took so many good shots this weekend, I just HAD to put a few of them online. So, here is "what I found at the beach".

Jess gave me an honesty scrap and I love that she did! She keeps me going! I am going to post it on my blog where I talk, because I am trying to keep this one as my photo of the day only, as much as possible. Here is the post where I talk about it.

Whoa! How did it already become the last day of February?! I took a walk on the beach and saw this weird stick and couldn't resist a photo (okay, okay, I pretty much take pictures of everything, weird or not). What a nice day it was! I miss California! It's just not the same in Louisiana. Just. Not. The. Same.

Okay so I took about 600 pictures on this day. This one is not my most scenic or the best use of my camera or anything like that. However, it is a moment in History... My thoughts go out to all the poor people in Chile who suffered an 8.8 earthquake.

PS. I did not heed this warning -- I went to the beach and people were surfing!!! (the water ended up rising only 1 ft in the end).

Um, yeah, kind of obvious.. you can tell it was the end of the day and I didn't have a picture yet...So this is the table that I was sitting at. I liked the lines, but am not super excited about this photo. I guess that is what this project is about though -- trying to see something when you otherwise wouldn't!
