I did a photo walk around New Orleans today. I am learning to use light, but am still not very confident in "big picture" shots. I am working on it though! This is the side of a building on Chartres St.

    very cool! i would like to try a ginger mint julep -- is it like soda, or like the alcoholic drink?

    Do they still make ginger mint julep? I once had it in Lebanon and I only liked it because it was ice cold.

    I like. Vintage signage makes awesome shots. But I add a vintage feel to half my photos anyway...it's one of my fave looks.

    I actually don't even know what a ginger mint julep is. I assume it's a mint julep with ginger (so yes, alchoholic).

    Jess...do you use textures? Lucy uses some great textures but I still have not used her tutorial to figure out how to do it. One thing at a time! PS Glad you are back!
